Norma 180 Grain Bonded Soft Point Ammo Details

Switzerland is famous for three things: being neutral, inventing the 7.5x55 Swiss rifle cartridge, and … okay, two things. If you’re a big fan of the second thing, then you’ll go absolutely bananas over this high-quality hunting ammo!

This ammo is actually made by Norma of Sweden, but even the Scandis know what American hunters want: 180 grain bonded soft point projectiles. This round’s bullet’s lead core and copper jacket are tightly fused to one another, which dramatically reduces fragmentation following impact. Alongside its unjacketed lead tip, that gives the bullet everything it needs to inflict a deep and wide wound column.

Norma packed this round’s reloadable brass case with enough clean-burning powder to accelerate its bullet to a muzzle velocity of 2,690 fps (out of a barrel of unspecified length). At that rate, the sleek SP exhibits the 0.354 G1 ballistic coefficient it needs to reach 200 yards without rising higher than 3” above the bore line.

And lest you forget: any retailer who claims to ship faster than AmmoToGo.com is a liar (and possibly also a communist sympathizer).
