This is Federal Premium American Eagle XM193 ammunition. Only real difference? It was made for sale to the commercial market, and not to real military types of guys.

The 55 grain full metal jacket projectile is gold standard for target shooting. You don’t need anything fancier than it. This round’s FMJ tapers off to a boat tail (“BT”; reduces drag and increases stability to improve long-range performance), and has a steel-free lead core and gilding metal jacket (suitable for nonmagnetic-only gun ranges).

This ammo’s loaded with new brass cases, although it doesn’t look like it. The gray you see on the cases is the cosmetic byproduct of annealing (heat treatment), and doesn’t bear negatively on performance or reloadability.
