Featuring a lead-free, all copper Barnes Expander bullet, this Federal Premium Vital-Shok .500 Smith & Wesson ammunition takes handgun hunting performance to the next level. Weighing in at a hefty 275 grains, these Barnes Expander projectiles are constructed of solid copper, providing 100 percent weight retention and zero fragmentation. Expander bullets also expand up to twice their original diameter and deliver impressive accuracy.

Founded in 1922, Federal Premium is one of the world’s largest and most-trusted ammo producers. Perfect for hunting whitetails and other similarly sized game animals, this ammunition is 100 percent non-corrosive, non-magnetic, boxer primed, and features reloadable nickel-plated brass cases and premium powders. Leaving the muzzle at a velocity of 1660 feet per second, each round generates 1682 foot pounds of muzzle energy. This ammunition comes packed in 20-round boxes.
