Each of these 20 rounds of Corbon DPX .45 Long Colt ammunition is loaded with a 225 grain Barnes X hollow point projectile. Engineered using solid, heat-treated copper, Barnes X bullets eliminate the threat of core/jacket separation to provide 100 percent weight retention.



Barnes X projectiles feature a deep forward cavity design allowing the nose to peel and expand into razor-sharp petals upon target impact. These surgically sharp petals resemble the letter “X” when viewed from the front, giving the Barnes X its name. These sharp copper petals slice through soft tissue to carve a massive threat-stopping wound, even after passing through thick clothing and tough steel barriers.



This new production +P ammunition is loaded to a higher internal pressure, producing a muzzle velocity of 1200 feet per second with an impressive muzzle energy of 720 foot pounds. This lead-free ammunition is factory fresh, non-corrosive and features boxer primers and reloadable aluminum casings.
