This 45-70 Government cartridge doesn’t contradict our expectations for the Czech authority at all.

This round features a 405 grain projectile, the original weight it was loaded with back in the 19th century. Those who might like to hunt with a Trapdoor will appreciate how well this soft point bullet spreads out during penetration to dump staggering energy while leaving a wide wound channel in its wake. Still, the relatively affordable soft point is a good choice for target shooting as well.

Sellier & Bellot took care to make this round’s casing as straight as can be, and it’s certainly high quality enough to be reloaded. This classic round welcomely features modern explosive components, including smokeless propellant and a non-corrosive Boxer primer.
