Each of these 20 rounds of Corbon DPX .44 Special ammunition is loaded with a 225 grain Barnes X hollow point projectile. Constructed of solid, heat-treated copper, Barnes X bullets have zero core.jacket separation. With 100 percent weight retention, these unique projectiles deliver deep, dependable penetration, even after passing through tough steel barriers.
Barnes X bullets are engineered with a deep forward cavity which causes the nose to peel back to produce four separate razor-edged petals. This razor-petaled expansion produces a massive wound channel for maximum threat-stopping performance. When viewed head on, the expanded petals look just like the letter “X”, giving the Barnes X its name.
This lead-free ammunition is factory fresh and features non-corrosive boxer primers and aluminum casings. Leaving the muzzle at a velocity of 1350 feet per second, these rounds deliver a powerful punch of 911 foot pounds.
