This is Heavy 40 S&W +P Buffalo Bore 180gr. Jacketed Hollow Point Ammo. Buffalo Bore Heavy 40 S&W +P loads use flash suppressed powders that give high velocities at low pressures. There is such a variety of 40 S&W pistols in public use that Buffalo Bore will not determine what pistols are compatible with which 40 S&W +P loads - this is your responsibility! Buffalo Bore adds that this ammo is safe in pistols that use a fully supported chamber. This ammo is brass cased, boxer primed, non-magnetic and non-corrosive. This ammo is packed in 20rd boxes.

I've used this B/B .40 180 gr. in my Sig 239; This round will take down a 200 Lb, or less hog. While not a target load at this price, of course. I also have used them in my CW40 Kahr. Fortunatly; I have not had to use them for home defense. As Ammo TO GO mentions in their scriptor of this .40 round; be cautious of what pistol or revolver you use this in. You should contact your firearm mfg; before using this +P round.
