20rds - 40 S&W Corbon DPX 140gr. HP Ammo Details
This is 40 S&W Corbon DPX 140gr. Hollow Point Ammo. Corbon products have earned a distinctive reputation in the industry with their high energy JHP ammunition. They maintain that standard with this new DPX line, it has a deeper penetration to make it the optimum load for Law Enforcement and civillian use. This ammo is loaded with the Barnes X Bullet, which retains 100% of its weight, even after shot through barriers such as clothing and steel. The permanent crush cavity is considerably larger than a typical hollow point due to deeper penetration. The Barnes X-Bullet is a solid copper projectile, heat treated for extra toughness. There's no separate jacket and no lead core. The bullet holds together for deep, dependable penetration---every time! A deep forward cavity causes the nose to peel back in four separate, razor-edged petals. Viewed head on, the appearance of these four petals gives the X-Bullet its name. This ammo is brass cased, boxer primed, non-magnetic, and non-corrosive. It comes packed in 20rd. boxes. Muzzle Velocity: 1200 fps.

Excellent choice. These expand and penetrate as advertised in every caliber in have tried including this one. A superb choice in defensive ammunition.

Ammo of choice for use in my Sig p320 40 carry. Thankfully have never had to use it in an actual self defense situation, but I would be comfortable based upon its performance specs.

Without a doubt these are the softest recoiling .40's around, but don't think this means they don't pack a punch on the receiving end. They penetrate deep and expand a mile! Very accurate and clean to boot, so worth every cent. The soft recoil helps immensely with follow-up shots in a caliber known to be hard to control.

Great ammo, had a chance to fire some off in my Glock. It is expensive but all SCHP's are. Expand reliably and deal with barriers well.
