Hornady Custom loads are manufactured with only high-quality, premium components. Powders are specially blended to provide optimum pressure and velocity. Primers are carefully selected for reliable, rapid, and total ignition. Hornady also manufactures its own brass, setting high standards for corrosion resistance, hardness, and consistency.
This package contains 20 rounds of Hornady Custom .357 Sig ammunition. Each cartridge is topped with one of the most popular and versatile handgun bullets ever designed. Hornady’s famous XTP (Extreme Terminal Performance) jacketed hollow point projectiles are engineered for reliable expansion at a wide range of velocities. These proprietary bullets are built around a swaged lead core for uniform density and increased in-flight balance. This core is surrounded by a drawn gilding metal jacket that varies in thickness down the length of the bullet. This design helps control expansion and provides a major benefit over bullets with uniform jacket thickness.
The jacket also thoroughly encapsulates the nose of the projectile. With no exposed lead, the hollow point cavity functions in modern semi-automatic pistols and performs properly upon impact. Precise serrations strategically weaken the jacket, initiating controlled expansion even at low velocities. These unique features all combine to deliver effective and reliable accuracy, function, and threat-stopping power.
