The 327 Federal Magnum is no hothouse flower. Any bullet it fires is going to pose a sizeable problem to its recipient, be it man or beast. But when it is loaded with the Swift A-Frame, that cartridge truly becomes a force to be reckoned with!

This round’s jacketed hollow point bullet has anatomy similar to the Nosler Partition. Its jacket bifurcates its lead core into two sections: a rear, which stays mostly unchanged following impact so as to promote extremely deep penetration, and a bonded front which yields to wide and deadly impact. If the bullet were to meet flesh the instant it cleared muzzle, then it would expand to a diameter of approximately 0.44” and lose no more than around 8% of its weight.
