Remington Ammunition 180 Grain Polymer Tipped Ammo Details

Do you already know and love Remington’s Core-Lokt hunting bullet? Then it’s time to love their Core-Lokt Tipped even more! This 308 Win cartridge’s 180 grain polymer tipped projectile serves up the flat trajectory and commanding terminal ballistics you need to tag and bag any medium game you come across!

The 180 grain Core-Lokt Tipped boasts a stellar G1 ballistic coefficient of 0.480. That’s the doing of its sharp and centered green polymer tip, as well as its sleek jacket, balanced lead core, rearward adjusted center of gravity and boat tail which reduces drag. Zero in at 200 yards and marvel as the bullet dips to only -8.81” at 300 yards (assuming you have a 1.5” sight height). Peg a deer at 600 yards and you’ll still slap it with well over 1,000 ft lbs of energy!

The Core-Lokt Tipped’s dense lead core is mechanically locked to its copper-alloy jacket. That keeps the two components from pulling apart from one another to ensure a disastrously deep wound channel. And because the Core-Lokt Tipped’s tip is able to build up momentum before finally connecting with the bottom of its nose cavity, it’s able to trigger massive outward expansion that is only made more reliable by the bullet’s tapered jacket. This reloadable ammo features Remington’s finest supporting components, and it’s made in the USA!
