20rds – 300 Win Mag Vairog 190gr. Solid Brass Ammo

Vairog 190 Grain Solid Brass (Solid) Ammo Details

Just because you’re dusting off your 300 Winchester Magnum rifle doesn’t necessarily mean any woodland creatures are about to get their corn creamed. Sometimes you just want to pulverize targets! And for such special occasions, all you need is a few boxes of Vairog’s 300 Win Mag ammo.

This cartridge is loaded with a 190 grain solid brass bullet. It has no nose cavity, and it is not a soft point (the latter of which it couldn’t possibly be considering that it has no lead core). This is all to say that the bullet will not expand to deliver a wound channel wider than its 0.308” diameter alone could account for.

But a monolithic bullet has a lot to offer when you’re just punching holes through paper or ringing steel. It is lead-free, so it is at once environmentally friendly and clean-shooting. Its weight is distributed perfectly, so it possesses outlandishly good rotational stability. It is also extremely tough, so you don’t have to worry about deformation in the barrel that could otherwise have harmed accuracy.

Variog is headquartered in Cleveland, TN. These range cartridges have first-rate noncorrosive Boxer primers and low-fouling powder, and their cases will treat you right if you set your mind to reloading them.
