20rds – 300 Win Mag Prvi Partizan 165gr. PSP BT Ammo Details

Prvi Partizan had deer and elk hunters squarely in mind when they conceived this 300 Win Mag round. Its 165 grain PSP BT bullet has a streamlined ogive and tapering low-drag base – two driving factors behind its 0.228 G7 ballistic coefficient. Such a bullet must rise no higher than 17” en route to a 500 yard target, which it will strike with more than 1,600 ft lbs of energy. That’s more than adequate for elk, needless to say whitetail.

When this bullet finds itself sinking into its target, its exposed pliant lead core jumps into action. The nose of the bullet deforms as its jacket peels apart, tumbling and expanding to transfer more energy upfront while simultaneously cutting a wide swath out of its target.

Prvi Partizan is based in Serbia, but unlike many other Eastern European manufacturers they don’t rely steel to reduce their manufacturing costs. These rounds’ new production brass cases are Boxer primed and fully reloadable, and their nonmagnetic bullets will let you hone your aim nearly anywhere you please.
