This package contains 20 rounds of Hornady Custom .300 Winchester Magnum ammunition. Each new production cartridge is loaded with a 165 grain Hornady SST (Super Shock Tip) projectile. This proprietary design delivers tremendous terminal energy transfer and expands quickly and reliably, particularly at high velocities. Flat shooting and deadly accurate, the SST incorporates an aerodynamic polymer tip, secant ogive design, and stabilizing boat tail base. These features work together to reduce drag, increase bearing surface, and provide amazing in-flight stability. The result is a hard-hitting, highly accurate expanding bullet.
Leaving the muzzle at a velocity of 3100 feet per second, each round produces 3520 foot pounds of muzzle energy. Perfect for hunting whitetails and larger game, this ammunition comes packed in 20-round boxes.
