This round’s bullet is doubly toughened by its cannelure and InterLock ring; both of which which embed the jacket into its core to help make the SST’s wound channel nice and deep (though “nice” hardly seems like the right word). The bullet is also programmed for fast, wide, and controlled expansion that begins at the instant of impact.

The SST will be every bit as accurate as you and your rifle can make it. Its light 165 grain weight grants it 3,200 fps muzzle velocity out of a 24” barrel. Its streamlined frontal, side and rear profiles all help it hang on to 86% of its velocity at 200 yards; 68% at 500. And if you hike it all the way out to 700 yards (i.e. 2-1/3 gridirons), the SST will still strike with around 1,250 ft lbs of energy.
