Remington Ammunition 180 Grain Polymer Tipped Ammo Details

Match accurate. Deadly on medium and large game alike. Remington’s Core-Lokt Tipped 30-06 Springfield ammunition gives any hunter the power to take any trophy that lollops across the American countryside!

This cartridge’s bullet is a great improvement over Remington’s traditional Core-Lokt soft point. The 180 grain bullet’s jacket is still securely locked to its lead core, which gives it the toughness it needs to pierce thick hide and penetrate dense muscle without splintering apart. The Big Green tip serves to trigger massive expansion, and can easily force double-diameter expansion before the bullet finally comes to a full stop.

The Core-Lokt Tipped bullet’s tip doesn’t merely accentuate terminal ballistics. It also greatly streamlines the bullet, which alongside its streamlined profile, concentric jacket and boat tail contributes to its high 0.480 G1 ballistic coefficient. Zero in at 400 yards with a rifle that has 1.5” high sights, and you can anticipate a trajectory that doesn’t elevate more than about 11.73”. Under the same conditions, you could reasonably expect about -17.7 drop at 500 yards.

Remington’s match primers, carefully measured propellant charges and polished brass cases all give the Core-Lokt Tipped bullet the support it needs to truly exceed your expectations. This American-made ammo is reloadable, so don’t leave those cases wherever they land!
