Winchester loads this Ballistic Silvertip cartridge so you can deliver outstandingly deadly terminal ballistics to any small game animal which made the mistake of entering your crosshairs!

This cartridge’s 55 grain bullet is quite attractive. Its copper jacket’s black oxide coating reduces engraving forces and cuts down on fouling, and its signature silver-colored polymer tip streamlines the bullet’s meplat to promote a flatter trajectory. The bullet’s accuracy is further enhanced by its concentric jacket, thick deformation resistant base, and low-drag boat tail. All together these features heighten the bullet’s G1 ballistic coefficient to 0.281 (G7 0.136).

When impact presses the bullet’s polymer tip inward, it instantly jams into a solid lead core. This forces the bullet’s thin jacket to burst apart, which produces the rapid fragmentation which is invariably fatal to small creatures.
