Remington Ammunition 55 Grain AccuTip Ammo Details

Turn your AR-15 into a dyed in the wool varmint slayer with this 223 Rem round by Remington! It sports a 55 grain projectile, so you and your rifle are already thoroughly familiar with its performance. This cartridge’s bullet will really wow you, though, because it is the high-tech AccuTip!

The AccuTip is accurate enough to seek out even the most tiddly varmints thanks to its great ballistic coefficient, a trait given to it by its sleek profile and the perfectly symmetrical meplat created by its polymer tip. That tip is anchored deep within the bullet’s core, and drives far inward upon impact to initiate massive expansion. The AccuTip’s jacket is engineered to control that expansion so that it occurs in a reliable and consistent fashion, so you’ll have varmint busting terminal performance you could set your watch to.

With a primer that is certain to deliver, this round will make a coyote’s encounter with you the last it will ever experience. Be certain to save these rounds’ brass casings! Any handloader worth their salt knows that brass with a Remington headstamp is good to pass through a reloading press several times.
