20rds - .223 Hornady TAP FPD 55gr. Polymer Tip Ammo

Hornady Ammunition 55 Grain TAP FPD Ammo Details

Hornady has grown from a simple two-man operation into a world leader in the ammunition industry. Founded in 1949, the company continues to focus on innovation, quality, and performance. Tactical teams, snipers, and law enforcement officers around the world choose Hornady for its flawless performance and high-level reliability. Hornady’s new family of TAP For Personal Defense (TAP FPD) ammunition is superior tactical ammunition designed specifically for civilian personal protection.

This package contains 20 rounds of Hornady TAP FPD .223 Remington ammunition. Each cartridge is loaded with a 55 grain TAP FPD projectile. The polymer-tip design of these projectiles delivers impressive terminal ballistics and exceptional accuracy, while the hollow point cavity increases terminal expansion and minimizes the risk of over-penetration.

This ammunition is factory fresh, non-corrosive, and boxer primed. Hornady uses special propellants to minimize flash and preserve night vision. These loads also feature nickel-plated brass cases for smooth function and easy low-light chamber checks. Each round produces a consistent muzzle velocity of 3240 feet per second and a muzzle energy of 1282 foot pounds.
