It sure is satisfying to stock up on good deer hunting ammunition! But if you’re a little hesitant to spring for a whole case of Sellier & Bellot’s versatile 6.5 Creedmoor ammo, then no worries. This ammo typically comes 25 boxes to a case, but we split it up into 10-box bundles!The soft point bullet doesn’t have a lot of fancy bells and whistles. It’s economical because it’s simple, and it’s been around for a very long time because it works. This round’s 156 grain soft point retains enough momentum to conserve at least 1,000 ft lbs of energy until it reaches approximately 425 yards. And because its brass jacket doesn’t conceal the tip of its soft lead core, it’s able to mushroom outward and tumble around while it digs through the quarry.
Sellier & Bellot recorded this round’s 2,444 fps muzzle velocity with the aid of a 21-3/4” test barrel; its G1 ballistic coefficient is 0.456; G7 0.230. The range-friendly nonmagnetic projectile is loaded in a new solid brass case, complete with the noncorrosive Boxer primer that makes this ammo rust-free and reloadable.
