This cartridge is loaded with the trusty, dependable and tried and true soft point projectile. The SP takes a simple approach to terminal expansion. By leaving its soft lead core exposed at the tip, the SP is able to flatten down and track a wide, deadly wound channel through any medium-size game critter. The SP’s strong (and nonmagnetic) brass jacket also prevents fragmentation to promote deeper penetration.

The SP is not a match accurate bullet by any standard, but it gets the job done. Its aerodynamic and balanced design means it possesses a 0.417 G1 ballistic coefficient upon exiting a 21.75” barrel at a velocity of 2,658 fps. It’ll thump a deer with over 1,000 ft lbs of energy so long as that deer is standing within 448 yards of your muzzle.
