Personally tested out of a Glock 42 in ClearBallistics FBI block. Temp 46 F. Distance 10 feet. In bare gel the round penetrated 11.5 inches, good flight path, decent wound cavity and full expansion with no tumbling. With denim over the FBI block, same distance, the round penetrated 13.875 inches and did not expand. Plugged with denim. However, both penetration distances were within tolerance. 11 inches minimum and 14 inches maximum in 10% ballistic gel. Failure to expand in the denim test is not necessarily bad because penetration was good with fewer concerns for over penetration due to failure to expand. Price point is good, and no malfunctions. No sinister names on the box will give you an easier time in court explaining your ammo choice. One of the better performing 380 defensive rounds.
