Although Buffalo Bore Sniper loads are engineered for match grade long range accuracy, these .308 Winchester (7.62x51) loads also have great hunting potential. Each factory fresh cartridge is loaded with a 175 grain Sierra MatchKing jacketed hollow point with a boat tail configuration. These bullets are renowned for their pinpoint accuracy. Relatively soft compared to standard hunting gullets, Buffalo Bore notes that these competition projectiles also deliver excellent expansion in deer-sized game animals from 100 to 500 yards.
Leaving the muzzle at a velocity of 2800 feet per second, each round generates 2832 foot pounds of muzzle energy. This ammunition produces velocities lower than maximum SAMI specifications. Non-corrosive and boxer primed, these rounds feature high-quality, reloadable brass cases. Each package case contains 10 boxes of 20 rounds for a total of 200 rounds.
