Have you ever seen Smokey and the Bandit? Did you notice that no one fires a gun throughout the entire movie? I think that was a good moviemaking decision. This cartridge’s propellant burns quick. It’s able to combust totally within a barrel as tiny as 7.5”, which means you can fire in the dark without getting immediately blinded by muzzle flash. That same propellant also reduces recoil, and has the added bonus of keeping a rifle (and suppressor, if one is present) cleaner. Muzzle velocity shouldn’t be supersonic unless your barrel is 16” or longer!
