Bought a case of these to practice my snap shooting with. When they arrived, I was a little worried that being 170gr. that they might recoil more than I wanted for practice than say a 150gr or 110gr.
After shooting it, I was more than happy to discover that A., it's really light recoiling and B., this is the second most accurate stuff out of my little 16" barreled 336 so far.
Haven't hunted with it, but the 30-30 was designed for a 170gr. - I'm sure it'll work great. I'll be buying more.
