It is by no means exclusively intended for that piece of heirloom-grade engineering, of course. This ammo features all the same touches that make Federal HammerDown a swell pick for any and all lever guns.

This round’s 150 grain soft point is bonded to promote deeper penetration into the quarry, and optimized to deliver the best possible accuracy and deadliest terminal expansion a lever gun’s barrel can supply. Its case is chamfered (i.e. beveled to remove sharp edges) to promote unerring feeding in a lever action, and plated in nickel that reduces friction to an even greater degree. A perfect system!
