Remington’s Core-Lokt bullet has been putting meat in refrigerators and trophies on living room walls since 1939. Now’s your chance to stock up on the 30-06 Core-Lokt ammo you need to hunt, hunt, hunt! And maybe shoot a few targets as well.

The Core-Lokt is a soft point. Its ability to double its original diameter before finally coming to a rest within (or tunneling completely through) its target means that the Core-Lokt deals the kind of damage that ends a hunt immediately after you’ve squeezed the trigger. The Core-Lokt’s signature feature is the way its jacket is embedded into its lead core. Because its two components are mechanically anchored together, the Core-Lokt is able to undergo high-velocity impact without fragmenting too much to inflict a deep and disastrous wound channel.

This round isn’t loaded with the the pointed version of the 180 grain Core-Lokt, but the 0.248 G1 ballistic coefficient projectile still does a fine job of homing in on its target. This nonmagnetic ammunition is loaded in Arkansas with noncorrosive Boxer primers and reloadable new brass cases.
