Federal Ammunition 90 Grain Soft-Point (SP) Ammo Details

This 224 Valkyrie ammo by Federal fusion is best suited for hunting medium sized-game. The 200-round bulk case makes this popular cartridge even more affordable for the high-volume shooter. Each factory fresh brass casing is loaded with Boxer-primers and clean burning propellants, and then fitted with a 90gr. soft point (SP) bullet. If you find yourself in an area that doesn't allow hollow points, this is your next best bullet option. The SP expands and deforms when striking soft tissue, causing wound channels similar to a hollow point. These Fusion cartridges are crafted using bullets with chemically bonded cores. The bonding process helps keep the bullet intact during flight for better penetration on impact. These rounds have a blistering muzzle velocity of 2550 fps, and a powerful corresponding energy of 1299 ft/lbs.
