Australian Defense Industries 55 Grain Polymer Tipped Ammo Details
Australian Defence Industries spends most of their time and energy making certain the Australian Defence Force has enough of the goods to hold their own during a war. But some wars are also fought against varmints, which is why ADI World Class produces this premium small game hunting 223 Rem ammo as well. This round’s 55 grain bullet actually hails from Missouri. Sierra’s BlitzKing has the same accuracy-enhancing jacket concentricity and profile as their MatchKing. It additionally sports a sleek green polymer tip, which enables the bullet to begin expanding rapidly the moment it strikes its target. The wound channel is too shallow to be optimal for deer and such, but on woodchucks, prairie dogs and coyote the BlitzKing’s terminal ballistics are devastating.
ADI World Class loads their ammo with their own powder. That means this ammo has ballistic temperature independence, which keeps its velocities consistent even at extreme temperatures. ADI’s premium annealed brass cases and consistent primers will turn any AR-15 into a varmint’s worst nightmare.

I normally handload all of my varmint ammo, but in current times I did not want to deplete my stock. So I purchased this ammo for night hunting of Coyotes. This ammo shoot nickel size groups from my AR an the powder is clean burning. I normally shoot 50 grain Barnes varmint grenades for the DRT effect. The blitz king is on par for the same effect. The brass is also annealed and is very close to most match brass.
