Turaç’s Turkish-made shotshells offer an accessibly priced point of entry to any target shooting pastime! Granted, you wouldn’t want to fire these 20 Gauge slug shells at the sporting clays range (huge kudos to anyone who tries), but for range training, plinking, and maybe a little predator hunting, this ammo gets the job done-de-done-done.This shell throws a 3/4 ounce lead slug out of a shotgun’s barrel at a velocity of 1,360. That gives it more than enough striking power to ethically harvest a whitetail at reasonable range. The solid point slug won’t expand after impact, though, so its terminal ballistics aren’t ideal for medium game. It is also rifled slug: made for smoothbore shotguns and nothing else.
Beneath the slug sits a plastic wad. It has a ring-shaped compression zone, which collapses to soak up some (but by no means all) recoil energy. Beneath the wad sits a charge of smokeless powder and a noncorrosive primer – just like American-made. Order your case of 20 boxes today!
