15rds – 12 Gauge Winchester Super-X Low Recoil 2-3/4" 1oz. HP Rifled Slug Ammo Details

Do you want to train or hunt more comfortably? Do you want less muzzle rise to complicate your follow-up shots? Then you want this ammo! Embrace the (reduced) power of Winchester Super-X Low Recoil 12 Gauge ammunition!

It’s simple physics, folks. This round’s 1 ounce rifled (smoothbore) hollow point (terminal expanding) lead slug gains 1,300 fps muzzle velocity. That’s significantly slower than most other slug loads, which spells comparably lighter recoil. The slug’s wad column, which has two bordering compression zones, does even more to keep kick at a minimum.

Naturally, this ammo’s also weaker than its hotter-blooded peers. Upon attaining its posted muzzle velocity, the slug’s able to transfer over 1,000 ft lbs of energy to its target – but only within around 60 yards. Not a great setback if you hunt deer in woodsy environs!

This ammo’s fit for action in semi-automatic shotguns. It’s low-recoil, sure, but not to an degree that deprives it of a 3-1/4 dram equivalent.
