100rds – 7.62x39 Tula 154gr. SP Ammo

100rds – 7.62x39 Tula 154gr. SP Ammo Details

These heavyweight 7.62x39mm rounds are highly desired by experienced SKS and AK hunters for their excellent terminal performance even at long distances. Tula loads each of these cartridges with a 154 grain soft point projectile which boasts high energy that has been proven to drop feral hogs and whitetail deer with efficiency. Soft point bullets have an exposed lead tip up front which promotes expansion with an emphasis on weight retention and deep penetration. Each projectile is housed within a non-reloadable steel casing which is treated with corrosion-resistant polymer and equipped with a clean-igniting Berdan primer.

During entry, the projectile's increase in diameter causes it to yaw and create a free-bleeding wound while depositing all of its energy into more vital areas behind thick hide and bone. This not kills game humanely, but prevents the bullet from exiting the animal with any lethal momentum. The heavy 154 grain bullet also possesses a greater overall length for improved rifling contact that enhances stability and final accuracy. The Tula Cartridge Plant, in its current form, has about 140 years of experience as Russia's largest ammunition manufacturer. Their time-hardened construction techniques and focus on mass production allows them to offer dependable ammunition at an affordable cost.
