100rds – 7.62x39 Tula 124gr. FMJ Ammo

Tula Ammo 124 Grain Full Metal Jacket (FMJ) Ammo Details

This ammo from Tula is great to feed to your SKS, AK, or Mini-30 for range time practice and plinking! Each of these 7.62x39mm cartridges is loaded with a 124 grain full metal jacket (FMJ) bullet which falls within the most common weight range of the caliber. That means that these rounds maintain consistent ballistics and recoil with many hunting and personal defense loads for more effective drills and training. The FMJ projectile sits atop a non-reloadable steel casing which houses a non-corrosive Berdan primer at its base. Tula uses steel cases to lower costs and then dresses them with a light polymer film which prevents rust in storage and reduces metal-on-metal contact when firing.

Thanks to these efforts, shooters with heavy firing schedules can blast away without worrying over premature parts wear. While the bi-metal jacket of these bullets will attract a magnet, it is in no way designed to penetrate armor and will not visit undue damage upon bullet traps and steel targets. The Tula Cartridge Plant is one of Russia's oldest facilities and operates on engineering principles that been refined and solidified over the course of centuries. Their experience in wartime mass production allows them to offer high grade ammunition at affordable prices.
