Remington Ammunition 180 Grain Jacketed Hollow-Point (JHP) Ammo Details

Remington UMC ammunition aims to provide practice and defense ammo to all disciplines of shooter at a reasonable cost. These .40 S&W rounds from the UMC line are loaded with a 180 grain jacketed hollow-point (JHP) projectile with deep cavity, wide mouth, and light jacket imprints which cause the bullet to expand on impact with a threat; this expansion slows the bullet to prevent over-penetration while transferring more energy into the target and creating the widest possible wound.

180 grains is a very common weight for .40 Smith & Wesson and provides an shorter overall length which will feed reliably in a variety of pistol designs. In addition, these rounds are constructed using clean-igniting Boxer primers and reloadable brass casings which are new from the factory.
