100rds – 40 S&W Browning 165gr. FMJ Ammo

Browning 165 Grain Full Metal Jacket (FMJ) Ammo Details

You don’t mind the 40 S&W’s snappy recoil – it’s worth it for a sidearm that dumps so much energy into its target. But learning to control the FBI load takes time, patience and plenty of ammo. Fortunately we’ve got one of those things in stock and always ready for a good home!

This is a pure target shooting load, with an FMJ bullet that won’t widen out as it plows through soft tissue. But you really don’t need those kinds of bells and whistles while you’re just taking care of business at a range stall anyway!

This lead core bullet’s hard copper shell will help it feed smoothly into your chamber, and its lack of any steel means it cannot draw a magnet. At 1,060 fps, this round’s 165 grain bullet achieves a practically identical muzzle velocity as a comparable self-defense load.

Browning’s ammunition is made at the same facility as Winchester’s. Its high-quality brass cases would make a worthy foundation for any handloading project, and its non-corrosive Boxer primers and clean-burning powder are attentively matched to promote consistent performance.
