Fiocchi introduced their Range Dynamics line of ammunition in 2018 in order to better provide for American shooters’ training, range shooting, and plinking needs. This 300 AAC Blackout cartridge evinces its Old World manufacturer’s considerable expertise, yet doesn’t fetch the same price tag as one of their more premium, match grade loads.This round’s 150 grain projectile falls within the middle its caliber’s considerably wide spread of available weights. A full metal jacket, its terminal performance is ideal for shooting inanimate targets, as it hasn’t truly got any terminal performance to speak of. A full metal jacket does ensure smooth feeding from a magazine, and keeps the barrel unadulterated by thick lead residue for a relatively long time. Fiocchi gave this round’s bullet a boat tail profile, which improves its ballistic coefficient that it may maintain a flatter trajectory, keep a better part of its muzzle velocity, and resist being pushed off course by cross and vertical winds downrange.
This round further offers a reloadable brass casing, non-corrosive Boxer primer, and clean burning propellant.
