Federal Ammunition 40 Grain Copper-Plated Round Nose (CPRN) Ammo Details

These .22 rimfire rounds are great for practice and plinking and present shooters with wonderful quality at an attractive price! Each round is made by Federal using a freshly rolled brass casing with a clean-igniting primer mixture. The cartridge is topped with a 40-grain bullet made from naked, molded lead. The lead round nose (LRN) bullet is considered a solid point and is appropriate for range sessions as well as for plinking around with reactive targets.

The LRN bullet is also useful for experienced small gamers who intend to keep their pelts and skins. This is because the non-expanding LRN bullet causes little damage to furs and creates a smaller exit wound on the way out.
