There’s subsonic Clean-22, and there’s high-velocity Clean-22. This is the latter version, with a 40 grain lead round nose bullet that is billed to clear muzzle at a supersonic rate of 1,235 fps.

What’s really special about the LRN is what it’s coated in: not copper, but polymer. The red substance can curtail lead residue buildup inside a suppressor by 60 to 80 percent, and it has a similarly pleasing effect on bore fouling. Zero copper residue, too, so you’ll be able to waste less time and less Hoppe’s while you clean up your stuff!

CCI says this round’s polymer-coated LRN has a G1 ballistic coefficient of 0.130. If it attains its advertised muzzle velocity, then it ought to remain supersonic until around 36 yards.
