Offering effective performance for recoil sensitive shooters, this Remington Managed Recoil ammunition provides faster target recover and improved second shot accuracy. Each 2 ¾ inch 12 gauge shotshell is loaded with a 1-ounce rifled slug. This ammunition delivers maximum expansion to create a massive wound channel and effective terminal energy transfer out to 80 yards, well within most shotgun hunting ranges for whitetail deer.

Leaving the muzzle at a velocity of 1200 feet per second, these Remington Sluggers provide 1397 foot pounds of muzzle energy. Perfect for youngsters and other recoil sensitive shooters, Remington Managed Recoil Sluggers provide 45 percent less felt recoil than full velocity Sluggers.

Designed for use in 12 gauge shotguns with smooth bore barrels, this new production ammunition can also be used in fully rifled barrels or with rifled choke tubes.
