This round’s 115 grain full metal jacket projectile does not have a shielded base that prevents lead vaporization, a hollow point nose cavity that initiates terminal expansion, or an abnormally hard core which promotes deeper penetration. It’s just a normal lead core cupped by a copper-alloy jacket – but that’s really all you need when your only aim is to shoot cardboard, paper and recyclables.
