1000rds – 9mm Sterling Steel 115gr. FMJ Ammo
Sterling 115 Grain Full Metal Jacket (FMJ) Ammo Details
At the time of writing (early 2026), you still can’t import Russian-made ammunition into the U.S. That has presented a real problem for budget-minded shooters who have traditionally favored the country’s economical steel-cased ammo. But if you’re one of them, your ship has just come in. We’re offering steel-cased 9mm ammunition by Sterling of Turkey for sale! This ammo comes with all the same caveats as similarly constructed Russian-made stuff. Its steel cases? Too rigid to be reloaded, and likely to allow more powder residue inside the action. Its 115 grain FMJ projectiles? Bi-metal jacketed, meaning they contain enough steel to attract a magnet (and are therefore unwelcome at more than a few commercial shooting establishments). Plan ahead accordingly!
This ammo is loaded with noncorrosive primers. Its 34,085 psi maximum chamber pressure also falls below the 35,000 psi ceiling allowed by SAAMI specifications, so it’s safe to fire in handguns X, Y and Z. (Note that Sterling specifies this ammo as having a muzzle velocity of 1,115 to 1,180 fps. Our 1,148 fps figure is the average of those numbers.)
