Speer Lawman 9mm 135 grain total metal jacket target ammunition!

Most subsonic 9mm ammo is loaded with 147 grain bullets. This little stinker is loaded with a 135 grain one – still subsonic (by 5 fps out of a 4” test barrel), but also able to exhibit a flatter trajectory than a heavier alternative.

The full metal jacket? Great target bullet, but not ideal for indoor range use. The FMJ’s base isn’t jacketed, so it releases lead gas while exploding propellant cooks it down the barrel. The total metal jacket? Even better! It does everything the FMJ does, plus it has a jacketed base that prohibits any part of its lead core’s surface from vaporizing.

And the icing (let’s say buttercream) on top? This ammo’s recoil and in-air ballistic performance is very close to that of Speer’s Gold Dot 9mm 135 grain load (i.e. SKU 24260). Great for training if you carry that ammo and want realism.
