MaxxTech 115 Grain Full Metal Jacket (FMJ) Ammo Details
You wouldn’t buy a horse without buying a whole mess of hay and oats and apples and peppermint candies, because a horse needs those things to function. The same is true for your gun – not to say that you should offer it peppermint candies so that it will carry you around on its back. The gun needs ammo to function. And here we have it: A big case of 9mm ammo courtesy of MAXXTech. This is range ammo, plinking ammo, training ammo – whatever kind of ammo you’d like it to be, really, because each round ends in a 115 grain FMJ bullet. Thanks to its copper alloy sheathe it feeds readily in a semi-auto and also saves the bore from rapid lead fouling, although such a bullet is less than ideal for self-defense. Without expansion to underscore its terminal effect, the FMJ generally doesn’t do as much damage as a JHP.
This ammo is made by Pobjeda Technology in Bosnia and Herzegovina (that’s one country). Pobjeda exclusively loads brass cases with non-corrosive Boxer primers, although their brass is generally considered unworthy of reloading.
