Norma 124 Grain Full Metal Jacket (FMJ) Ammo Details
Norma Precision AB was founded in 1895 by the Enger brothers: Lars, Johan and Ivar. They named their company after Lars’ favorite opera: Norma. It’s a good thing they didn’t name it after the Ammo To Go team’s favorite opera, because Die Meistersinger von Nürnberg isn’t especially catchy. The Enger bros never heard of the 7.62x39 cartridge, though we’re sure their company’s latest effort would win their full approval. This Swedish-made round is loaded with a 124 grain full metal jacket, although the bullet lacks the bimetal jacket commonly found in Russian-made ammo. As such you can trust this ammo not to attract a magnet – excellent if you wish to open up your AK-47 at a range which doesn’t allow that sort of thing.
This ammo is also reloadable. It’s new brass cases have never before glittered in the light of day, and its Boxer primers are most assuredly noncorrosive. It’s the best of all worlds, and when you order a whole case you’ll be able to shoot until the fat lady sings!
