These cartridges fire a 62 grain full metal jacket bullet and have similar external ballistics to M855 ball, making them a highly cost-effective alternative for range use. This ammo is loaded in Russia using non-corrosive Berdan or Boxer primers and polymer-coated steel cases; the cases are not reloadable and have magnetic properties that may make them unsuitable for some indoor ranges.
