Do you have a vendetta – a vendetta against varmints? Then this is your 22 LR ammo. Browning loads their Performance Rimfire series hunting cartridge with a standard weight 40 grain projectile. They just put a little extra pepper behind it so it can deliver a white-hot 1,435 fps muzzle velocity out of a rifle!So fast-flying a bullet doesn’t just hug a flat trajectory. It also wallops its target with shocking energy on impact: 132 ft lbs at 50 yards, or 102 ft lbs at 100. The bullet makes matters even worse for its target thanks to its hollow point nose cavity, which supplies the terminal expansion that reduces a varmint’s chance of survival to nil.
This is clean-shooting ammunition, with low-fouling powder and copper-plated plated projectiles. It’s also smooth-cycling ammo, as its 40 grain bullets and hyper muzzle velocity are certain to produce enough chamber pressure to cycle a semi-automatic. It’s even packaged in nice plastic boxes with rigid sliding lids.
