A perfect option for the high-volume shooter, this package contains 250 rounds of 20 gauge Hevi-Shot Pheasant ammunition. Each 2 ¾ inch shotgun shell is loaded with ⅞ ounces of #4 Hevi-Shot. More dense than traditional lead shot, Hevi-Shot is a proprietary metal softer than steel. #4 Hevi-Shot matches the knock-down power and effective range of #5 lead shot, but contains a 14 percent higher shot count. Layering ensures these high-density pellets outrun steel while producing maximum shot density and incredible pattern consistency.
These shotgun shells are factory fresh and produce muzzle velocities of 1350 feet per second. Hevi-Shot should only be used in shotguns with barrels approved for steel shot. Hevi-Metal Pheasant loads are non-toxic and are approved for all non-toxic state and federal hunting zones.
