Brenneke developed their Special Forces Short Magnum ammunition because unique situations demand a unique projectile. Designed to meet modern urban threats, whether hiding behind tough barriers or driving a motor vehicle, these loads deliver amazing penetration and stopping power, especially at medium ranges.
This package contains 25 rounds of Brenneke Special Forces Short Magnum 12 gauge ammunition. Each 2 ¾ inch shotgun shell is loaded with a 1 ¼ ounce hard alloy rifled slug. Engineered with a massive frontal area and weight forward design, these slugs effectively penetrate tough urban barriers like vehicle doors, auto glass, walls, and steel and wood doors. In independent testing, Brenneke Special Forces Short Magnum penetrated a full 34.9 inches of FBI specified ballistic gelatin. The nearest competitor could manage only 26 inches.
Designed with a red protective coating, these unique projectiles reduce barrel fouling for cleaner shooting and less maintenance. Each round produces a consistent muzzle velocity of 1476 feet per second and an impressive muzzle energy of 2538 foot pounds.
