This package contains 20 rounds of Hornady Superformance .300 Ruger Compact Magnum (RCM) ammunition. Each cartridge is loaded with a 150 grain Super Shock Tip (SST) projectile. The SST bullet is engineered with a unique polymer tip for to produce a higher ballistic coefficient than most hunting ammo. These projectiles also featuring the trademark InterLock ring system to keep core and jacket firmly locked during flight and expansion. The result is impressive weight retention and solid expansion, creating massive wound channels.
This new production ammunition delivers flat long-range trajectories for incredible pin-point accuracy. Especially deadly on whitetails, this ammunition is also highly effective on most North American big game from pronghorn to moose.
Non-corrosive, boxer primed, and brass cased, each high-performance round delivers an impressive muzzle velocity of 3310 feet per second with a 3648 foot pounds of game-dropping energy.

Very accurate out of my ruger guide gun. Broke bones and got a complete pass through at 400 yards on a large doe. Another large doe I shot nearly straight on and it went just right of center and broke 4 ribs and penetrated up to the rear leg. It retained about 120gr.
