Remington Ammunition 230 Grain Flat Nose Enclosed Base (FNEB) Ammo Details

You’re not screwing a suppressor to the end of your barrel because you relish the task of cleaning it after you get home from the range. You’re doing it because you want to enjoy a little target practice without making a big fuss about it. That’s why you want Subsonic label ammunition, which Remington designed in collaboration with Advanced Armament Corporation to enhance the performance of suppressed firearms.

This cartridge features a flat nose enclosed base bullet. The FNEB’s ballistic and terminal performance are both more or less identical to that of a standard FMJ, but its enclosed base promotes far cleaner performance. The bullet’s lead core won’t get aerosolized during ignition, so you’ll have a lot less lead residue in your suppressor to contend with afterward.

No suppressor? No problem. Remington Subsonic ammunition still delivers consistent accuracy and cycling even when your handgun is “canless.” This ammo’s primers and cases are both Remington’s usual good quality as well, so you can definitely use that brass at your reloading station.
